SYLLABUS 2014-15 

WELCOME TO SEVENTH GRADE SOCIALSTUDIES!!!

 Seventh grade Social Studies will be a year of map skills, geography, government, history and economics. We will study the cultures, history, government, geography and economics of Southwest Asia, Southern and Eastern Asia, and Africa. There will also be a unit covering Personal Finance. You can see that this will be a very busy year!!!

 

CLASSROOM PROCEDURES

s         Be prepared to learn each day. Show me you are ready by having your materials ready – Agenda, social studies binder, paper, pencil and pens.

 

s          All work should be done neatly. You may do your work in blue/black ink or pencils. Notebook paper should be wide-ruled. Please do NOT use college-ruled.

 

s         You are expected to keep your social studies binder organized. Notes, homework, quizzes, tests and writings should be dated and kept in the assigned page of your notebook.

 

s         First 5 to 10 minutes of class: Copy the day’s assignment into your Agenda, complete the Opening and be ready for the lesson of the da
