Hello:  I am new to Houston County Public Schools.  Before arriving to Northside Middle School, I was a teacher at Parkway Middle School of the Arts in Broward County, Florida.  I am a native of Florida.  I started working in Public Education in 1990 in Broward County, but left to work as a case manager for foster children in Seattle, WA, where I resided for nine years.  I came back to Florida in 2005, where I begin teaching in Broward County which I talk social studies, geography and science (gifted).  I earned my bachelor degree in Business; my masters in Organizational leadership; and my specialist degree in Educational leadership.  I love teaching middle school, 8th grade because I love seeing their faces when they realized they are actually going to high school and are becoming young adults.  I love seeing the growth from Middle school to College and Career.  That is the true reward of teaching, when your students come back and say "Thank You" and share their success with you and your current students.
