Hello and thank you for visiting my page. I am Dr. Jeffrey Martin and a proud NMS Jet. I started teaching in February, 2001 at NMS. I have taught 6th, 7th , and 8th grade math in general education as well as 7th and 8th grade social science. In 2017, I started teaching interrelated math and social studies in Special Education. I currently serve as the department chair for the Special Education Department. I am a 1984 graduate of Madison County High School. After graduating from high school, I attended Georgia College and earned my Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Information Systems in 1988. I continued my education at Fort Valley State University and earned my Master of Science degree in Middle Grades Education in 1997. I furthered my education at Nova Southeastern University and earned a Education Specialist degree in Education Leadership in 2008 and a Doctor of Education degree in Instructional Leadership in 2017. I currently coach boys'  basketball at NMS and Hand Ball for the Houston County Sharks. I have also coached men track at Northside Middle School. I enjoy working with all students.
