Mr. Bishop began his career as a middle school educator in 2019, all within the Houston County School System, and has worked previously at Mossy Creek Middle School and the Georgia Network for Educational and Therapeutic Supports program. He started as a lead classroom teacher in 2019 at Northside Middle School. Mr. Bishop holds a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Georgia College and State University. He has previously taught middle school language arts, science, social studies, and math. In addition to his career has an educator, Mr. Bishop has worked as a news director for several Middle Georgia radio and television stations, as well as being a new reporter and columnist for a number of local newspapers and has worked as Executive Director for an adult lteracy non-profit organization. Mr. Bishop is married with four children, ages 25, 23, 19, and 10.
