Hello I am Mrs. Williams-Smith! I am very excited to be here at Northside Middle School this year. I previously taught two years in Bibb County at the high school level and before that 11 years in Charlotte-Mecklenburg County of NC. I grew up in Greenville, SC and attended college at University of South Carolina in Aiken, SC. I received my Bachelors of Science in Mathematics/Computer Science, but after graduating I decided I wanted to use my mathematics degree to teach high school. I then attended University of South Carolina Upstate in Spartanburg, SC to pursue a teaching certification. I gained a passion and love for teaching which motivated me to earn my National Board Certification in Teaching. I will be teaching 8th grade math this year and looking forward to having a great partnership with each of you.
