Hello! I am Sonya Peterman, and I am very happy to be a member of the Northside Middle School Jet Family! My father served in the Air Force, so I traveled quite a bit as a child. Our family settled in Warner Robins in my junior year of high school, and I am a proud graduate of Northside High School! During my teaching career I have taught at Perry Middle School, Northside Middle School, and Northside High School. I became Assistant Principal for Instruction at Northside High School and served in that role for many years until I retired in May of 2021. Dr. Dykes had been one of my teachers at Northside High School and I always joked with him that I would come and teach for him before I retired… It didn’t happen quite that way…but here I am! I enjoyed retirement, but I am so happy to be given an opportunity to be back in the classroom!
